Same goes for fibromyalgia - most people think I live a life of leisure, that I’m trying to con everyone into thinking I’m feeling worse than I actually am. Well, you know what? You get to be the expert on you. Who knows better than you how you feel, how you think, what you’re able to accomplish. It follows that I get to be the expert on me. So could everyone just stop pretending they know better than I do when it comes to my illnesses?
